The Endowment will provide scholarships to students studying nursing at Ivy Tech Community College, Greencastle Indiana Campus. 

History of Fund
Medical professions are a strong family tradition in the Ballard and the Sturgeon families. “As we look to the future of our county, we wish to see health care in our community remain accessible, strong and viable. It is our privilege to offer a student scholarship to a man or woman studying in the health care field in the hope that they will in turn give back to our community in their ownhealth care careers. By helping people maintain good health and by giving care and comfort when needed, we can truly make a difference in the lives of others.”
