Ed and Ellie Ypma Community Endowment

Year Founded
2010

Purpose of Fund
Grants are awarded from the Ed and Ellie Ypma Community Endowment by the Board of Directors of the Putnam County Community Foundation to support the changing needs and aspirations of the people in Putnam County as the years go by.

History of Fund
Ed and Ellie Ypma each worked for almost four decades at DePauw University – Ellie as registrar and Associate Vice President and Ed as a professor – enriching the lives of countless students before retiring in 2004. The Putnam County residents have now established an endowment which can accommodate the changing needs of the community for decades to come and will enable them to continue to positively impact those around them.

The Ed and Ellie Ypma Community Endowment was established by Ellie Ypma.
