Purpose of Fund
The Board of Directors established a non-endowed field of interest fund called the Putnam County Relief Fund whose primary purpose shall be to support local organizations providing relief to Putnam County residents facing extreme adversity or hardship, provided that such programs and contributions are consistent with the exempt purposes and status of the Foundation.  Relief provided shall include, but not be limited to food, shelter, and health care.  It is understood that award beneficiaries may not be members and family members of staff, advisory committees, or the Community Foundation Board.
