Purpose of Fund
The primary purpose of the Fund shall be to provide educational financial support to a student(s).  Many state scholarships are also given to deserving students, and support is provided for gifted and talented programs for students.  Tri Kappa has three state endowments dedicated to scholarship, fine arts, and philanthropy.

History of Fund
One of Tri Kappa’s goals is to further education.  In 2009 members founded the scholarship to help women who previously began a college career, or who are going back to school, and who are committed to getting a degree.  Members hope this award will encourage those women who receive it to stick with their dreams of completing their college career.  In appreciation for the women of the Beta Psi Chapter, an Associate Member matched contributions made to the endowment in 2009.
