Purpose of Fund

The purpose of the endowment is to benefit animals in Putnam County.  It provides an annual grant to the Putnam County Library to support acquisitions providing information on the benefits (health, animal, and environmental) of vegan/vegetarian diets.  The Endowment also provides an annual grant to the Humane Society of Putnam County for animal welfare and humane education programming.

History of Fund

Ms. Wright was a life-long animal lover and vegan.  She gave permission for her photo to be used, but requested that other information not be publicized.
