Hardman Family Advised Endowment Fund
Year Founded Purpose of Fund History of Fund Thelma Farlow Hardman was the oldest of six children born to a Quaker family in Southern Indiana. Books were the "love of her life." She graduated from Earlham College and Indiana University, married Harold Hardman, and served as teacher-librarian at Greencastle Community Schools for 28 years. Her daughter, Janet, and her son-in-law, Mark Elliot, both graduated from Greencastle High School and now live in Connecticut. "The Hardman-Elliott families wish to show their appreciation for the schools, churches, and charitable organizations that have made Greencastle a great place to live and raise a family." Thelma reports she spent many happy and productive years in Greencastle.
