Purpose of Fund
The primary purpose of the Fund shall be to provide financial support to community projects and local charities that will enhance the quality of life for those Putnam County residents served by Hendricks Power Cooperative.  Grant awards may be suggested by the Donor and will be approved by the Board of Directors.

History of Fund
The Operation Round Up Program is a great way to make a difference. Hendricks Power customers may volunteer to have their electric bill rounded up to the next dollar each month.

The 99 cents or less is then donated to the community foundation that serves the customer's county or community. These contributions are pooled in a fund, and charitable grants are awarded that benefit the customer's community.
