History of Fund
The Putnam County Hospital Nurse's Fund was the inspiration of Rita Coulter, a registered nurse at Putnam County Hospital for over 14 years. The fund was established to honor and reward the nurses of hospital for their dedicated service to patients and the residents of Putnam County. Putnam County Hospital was established in 1923 to provide healthcare to the local area. Since that time, nurses have been the backbone in the care offered through the hospital's many service lines.
