Purpose of Fund
The primary purpose of the Fund shall be to provide educational financial support to a Putnam County student(s) studying dentistry. An advisory committee appointed by the Foundation's Board of Directors will recommend scholarship nominees. The Board of Directors of the Putnam County Community Foundation approves all scholarship nominees. It is understood that scholarship recipients may not be members or family members of Fund donors, Foundation staff, advisory committees, or the Board of Directors.

History of Fund
Cindy and John Hennette stated "The idea behind the Scholarship was to promote our enthusiasm for the profession of dentistry. We have been able to impact the oral health of many children and young adults through our professional lives and wish to provide anyone interested in experiencing these emotional and social rewards whatever support we can."
