Read each scholarship description carefully. Each scholarship is unique and may have different application instructions and requirements. G.P.A. requirements are based on a 4.0 grading scale.

4-H General Scholarship - Award varies; one-time award
Eligibility: Current college student with C average; current or past Putnam County 4-H member, with a history of community service.

Eligibility: Current college student with C average; current or past Putnam County 4-H member involved in livestock projects, with a history of community service.

Darrel Thomas 4-H Scholarship- Award varies; one-time award
Eligibility: Current college student with C average; current or past Putnam County 4-H member, with a history of community service.

Alpha Gamma Delta-Eta Alumnae Chapter Scholarship Fund - Award varies;
may reapply

Eligibility: Junior or senior at an accredited Indiana college or university OR accepted into a post-graduate degree program; Minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0.

Asbury Towers Endowment for Continuing Education in Nursing - Award $250; may reapply
Eligibility: Full-time Asbury Towers' employee for six months; high school diploma or GED; pursuing continuing education or licensure in nursing.

Brookshire -- Barbara & Edward Brookshire 4-H Scholarship- Award varies;
one-time award

Eligibility: Current college student with C average; current or past Putnam County 4-H member, with a history of community service.

Brookshire -- Barbara & Edward Brookshire Purdue Scholarship - Award one-half of annual payout; may reapply
Eligibility: Graduate of Putnam County High School OR parent/guardian is an active member of the Purdue Club of Putnam County; accepted for admission or enrolled at Purdue University.

Dierdorf -- Betty L. & Marjorie Dierdorf Memorial Scholarship - Award $1,000; one-time award
Eligibility: Current Putnam County, Clay County, or Knox County High School senior; minimum high school G.P.A. of 2.5.

Evans Family Culver Academy Scholarship - Award varies; may reapply
Eligibility: Putnam County resident, accepted for admission to Culver Academies (grades 9 through 11), or Culver Summer Schools.

Hennette -- Cindy & John Hennette Dental Scholarship - Award $1,000;
one-time award; may reapply

Eligibility: Resident of Putnam County; intend to pursue a career in the dental field (dentistry or dental hygiene programs); minimum high school grade point average of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0; based on merit, financial need, moral character and community or volunteer service.

H.O.P. Technologies Academic Scholarship - Award $500; one-time award
Eligibility: Putnam County high school senior excelling in academics, community service, and leadership.

H.O.P. Technologies Athletic Scholarship - Award $500; one-time award
Eligibility: Putnam County high school senior excelling in athletics, community service, and leadership.

Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship - Full tuition and fees at Indiana college or university; for four years
Eligibility: Putnam County resident for at least two years including current year; Putnam County high school graduate or graduate of an accredited Indiana private high school; excellence in academics, leadership, and extracurricular achievements; intent to pursue full-time, four-year undergraduate study leading to baccalaureate degree.

Lyon Family Scholarship - Award up to $10,000 per year for two years; may reapply
Eligibility: Adults and youth; residents of Putnam County, accepted for admission or currently enrolled as a full or part-time student at an accredited technical school, community college, or traditional college or university; pursuing a two-year, four-year or graduate degree.

Oliver -- Marjorie B. Oliver Fund for Nursing Scholarships - $1000 per semester; renewable up to 4 years
Eligibility: Putnam County resident, pursuing a career in nursing.

Purdue Club of Putnam County Scholarship - Award $500; may reapply

Eligibility: Graduate of a Putnam County High School OR parent/grandparent is an active member of the Purdue Club of Putnam County; accepted for admission or enrolled at Purdue University

Putnam County Board of Realtors Fund - Award $500; one-time award
Eligibility: Putnam County high school graduate; attending a 2-4 year institution of higher education pursuing a career in business, finance, real estate or law; minimum G.P.A. of 3.0.

Putnamville Correctional Facility Memorial Scholarship - Award up to $1,400; may reapply
Eligibility: An employee OR the legal dependent of an employee of Putnamville Correctional Facility, pursuing a career in law enforcement, corrections, or related areas.

St. Paul the Apostle Church Ladies Guild Scholarship - Award $500; one-time award
Eligibility: Member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church; Putnam County high school senior; minimum high school G.P.A. of 3.0; participation in extracurricular activities.

Stockton Hospice Educational Foundation - Award $250; one-time award
Eligibility: Hospice employee of at least one year, working one of the counties served by Horizon Hospice Care, Inc.; employee merit and years of hospice employment and volunteer service.

Thies -- Lisa Stringer Thies Memorial Scholarship - Award $500; may reapply
Eligibility: Graduate of a Putnam County High School with community involvement, pursing a two, four or graduate degree in an area of service to the physically disabled; minimum G.P.A. of 2.5.

Zeiner -- Roscoe & Flossie N. Zeiner Scholarship - Award up to $10,000 per year; previous recipients must reapply
Eligibility: Current resident of Putnam County and/or graduate of Putnam County High School; displaying financial need, moral character, motivation and desire to succeed in a career.

Cloverdale High School

Christine & Howard Berliner Science Scholarship Fund - Award $500 per semester for two semesters ($1,000); one-time award; may reapply
Eligibility: Graduating Cloverdale High School senior who has been accepted as a full-time student to an accredited technical school, community college, traditional college, or university; pursuing a two or four year degree in science (chemistry, biology, physics, geology, etc.) or a science-related field (nursing, X-ray technology, veterinary medicine, etc.); financial need.

Cloverdale Community Scholarship Fund - Award $500; one-time award
Eligibility: Cloverdale High School senior.

Bitzer -- Marlene Bitzer Memorial Scholarship - Award $500; one-time award
Eligibility: Greencastle High School senior or graduate currently enrolled in or coursework leading to a degree in education; merit scholarship.

Greencastle Community Schools Educational Endowment - Award $300;
one-time award

Eligibility: Greencastle High School senior or graduate; minimum high school G.P.A. of 3.0.

Greencastle High School Alumni Scholarship - Award $800 - $1,000; may reapply
Eligibility: Greencastle High School graduate who attended at least two years at Greencastle High School; full-time enrollment in institution of higher learning; financial need; good citizenship.

Hamilton -- Francis & Betty Hamilton Memorial Scholarship- Award up to $600; may reapply
Eligibility: Greencastle High School graduate; Indiana University student enrolled in pre-law or law program.

Harbison -- Robert L. Harbison Family Scholarship- Award $400; one-time award
Eligibility: Accepted for enrollment at Indiana State University; resident of Greencastle Community School Corporation; Greencastle High School senior attending GHS for So., Jr., and Sr. years; minimum high school G.P.A. of 2.5; participation in extracurricular activities; exemplary behavior.

Hardman -- Harold H. Hardman Memorial Scholarship - Award $1,000;
one-time award

Eligibility: Resident of Greencastle Community School Corporation;Greencastle High School senior who attended GHS for So., Jr., and Sr. years; top 20% of his/her class; attending 4 year college/university; pursuing field of education.

Lanie -- Brian John & Roberta (Berdee) Lanie Memorial Scholarship - Award up to $1,000; renewable up to four years
Eligibility: Greencastle High School junior or senior; participation in a variety of extracurricular activities; minimum high school G.P.A. of 3.0; must attest to being drug and alcohol free.

Michael Rokicki Memorial/City Council Scholarship - Award up to $500.00;
one-time award

Eligibility: Resident of Greencastle; Greencastle High School senior.

North Putnam High School

Clinton Township Scholarship - $250 per semester, up to a maximum of 8 semesters ($2,000)
Eligibility: Resident of Clinton Township at high school graduation and for two of four high school years; demonstrated scholastic abilities, financial need, and citizenship; high school senior who has applied and been accepted as a full or part-time student at an accredited technical school, community college, or traditional college or university; pursuing a two-year or four-year degree. Continuation of award contingent upon student remaining enrolled and maintaining a 2.0 GPA.

North Putnam Community Schools Scholarship - Award up to $800; one-time award
Eligibility: North Putnam High School graduating senior; Core 40 diploma; minimum 3.0 G.P.A.; enrolled in a 2-4 year post-secondary institution; financial need; involvement in extracurricular activities; good citizenship; community service.

Pride -- Murray & Sara Pride Scholarship Endowment - Award up to $1,000; one-time award
Eligibility: Resident of one of the six Northern Townships of Putnam County; North Putnam High School graduating senior; minimum cumulative 2.5 G.P.A.; post-secondary institution with a preferred field of education; displaying the following traits: honesty, strong work ethic, volunteerism, commitment to community, participation in extracurricular activities, community service and a variety of interests.
Honorary Award, no application, nominated by school administration.

Russell Township Alumni Scholarship - Award up to $1,500; one-time award
Eligibility: North Putnam High School graduate; resident of Russell Township.

South Putnam High School

Belle Union High School Alumni Association Scholarship - Award up to $700;
one-time award

Eligibility: Resident of Jefferson Township;South Putnam High School graduate attending minimum of Jr. and Sr. years at SPHS; scholastic abilities; leadership; extracurricular activities; moral character; preference for ties to Belle Union High School; enrolled as full-time undergraduate student.

Fillmore High School Alumni Association Scholarship - Award $500;
one-time award

Eligibility: South Putnam High School graduate attending minimum of two years at SPHS; preference for students pursuing vocational training; financial need; moral character. Preference will be given to graduates of Fillmore Elementary School, Fillmore, Indiana OR to applicants that document a direct tie to Fillmore High School, e.g. mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, great-grandmother or great-grandfather were graduates of Fillmore H8gh School. The number of generational ties are not relevant, one is sufficient.

Puckett Family Scholarship - Award $500; one-time award
Eligibility: South Putnam High School senior; pursuing a degree in post-secondary education; displaying moral character, extra curricular activities and a determination for success.

Reelsville Alumni Scholarship - Award up to $2,500; one-time award
Eligibility: Graduate of Reelsville Elementary; Resident of Washington Township; South Putnam High School graduate; full time college, university, vocational, technical or business school.

Thomas -- Zella Marie (Taber) Thomas Endowment - Award $800; one-time award
Eligibility: Resident of Washington Township; South Putnam High School graduate; minimum high school G.P.A. of 3.0; leadership; preference given to those with financial need; full-time four year undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.
